A2018-001 – Discuss and consider a request by Rick Jones of ADV Rockwall Platinum Property Owner, LLC for the approval of an ordinance approving voluntary annexation of a 4.264-acre tract of land identified as Lot 1, Block 1, Valk Rockwall Addition, Rockwall County, Texas, within the Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) of the City of Rockwall, contiguous to the existing city limits, and take any action necessary (1st Reading).
Discuss and consider approval of an ordinance establishing a tariff authorizing an annual rate review mechanism as negotiated between Atmos Energy Corporation, Mid-Tex Division and the Steering Committee of Cities Served by Atmos, and take any action necessary. (1st reading)
Discuss and consider a city initiated request to direct staff to amend sections of Article II, Authority and Administrative Procedures, and Article V, District Development Standards, of the Unified Development Code for the purpose of amending the variance process for properties in an overlay district and to clarify the reapplication procedures for applications that have been denied by the City Council, and take any action necessary.
